Women’s Ministry

Women’s ministry at All Saints offers two complementary approaches, to meet varying needs – the Asssociation of Anglican Women (AAW) and anĀ informal social and fellowship group, called by its members the Corset Club (for women’s support…).

The AAW meets monthly, beginning with a short service in All Saints, and continuing with a guest speaker or other programme. The AAW is active in many areas, including mission, supporting the wider ministry of All Saints, relief programmes and encouraging fellowship. The AAW year traditionally ends with a special event, and pictured are members in the beautifully decorated ‘Christmas home’ of Claire, who has a collection of Christmas decorations and artwork that is quite exceptional.

The Corset Club aims to meet monthly, and organises a variety of events. These have included film nights, coffee and dessert nights, short walks, visits to a craft centre, to a brewery…and more are planned for 2009.
