Worship at All Saints
All Saints offers a variety of styles and times of worship, from relaxed and informal to choral Eucharists, from dedicated services for children to traditional language Holy Communion. Updated information can be found on This Week.
8am – Traditional Language Holy Communion. (Without hymns).
9.30am – Holy Communion. The first Sunday of the month is an all-age service, suitable for every age from very little to not-so-little! The second Sunday is a choral Eucharist, the third Sunday is centred around one of the excellent Eucharistic services available in the New Zealand Prayer Book, as is the fourth Sunday. We have an open table for Holy Communion – all are welcome to respond to the invitation of Christ. The ministry of prayer for healing and wholeness is offered at the altar rail during Communion time.
Tea and coffee is served in the church after the 9.30am service.
SUNDAY EVENINGS
Traditional Evensong is held at 5pm on the first Sunday of the month. Night Church is held at 7pm on the first and third Sundays of the month - a relaxed and informal evening worship, with musicians, preachers, prayers and fellowship, concluding with supper.
WEDNESDAY
At 10.30am every Wednesday, a traditional language Holy Communion service, without hymns, is held in the church, followed by the most delicious fellowship tea. This service and the morning tea is a highlight of the week for many, and visitors and new members are always warmly welcome.
There is a programme for children every Sunday. The first Sunday all-age worship includes every age, and is in the church. On the second and fourth Sundays, a children’s programme runs parallel with the 9.30am service. On the third Sunday of the month, a special ‘Fun Side’ service for children is held in the hall at 9.30am. A band, games, activities and teaching make this an eagerly anticipated event for children. If your child or children would like an invitation, please contact us!
