GOING DEEPER
There are two opportunities in the parish for deeper exploration of faith. On Monday nights, at 7pm, a home group meets for fellowship, prayer and to study the book of Acts. On every second Wednesday, a group meets in the guild room in the hall. This latter group is looking at the teachings and parables of Jesus through the eyes of Middle Eastern peasants, using the exciting work of Kenneth Bailey, who has taught New Testament studies in the Middle East for over 40 years. This group starts at 7.30pm. The next evening is Wednesday November 25 (the birth stories of Jesus). All welcome to any evening.
