Children’s Ministry

The unique faith needs of children are given particular emphasis, with a pattern of worship and exploration of faith designed to try and fit in with the busy lives of families. On the first Sunday of the month, at 9.30am, children are included in a shortened Holy Communion service, with a talk and activities designed specifically for them. Though, one has to say, all ages appreciate these services!

On the second and fourth Sundays, a programme for children is run during the 9.30am service.

On the third Sunday of each month, ‘The Fun Side’ is held in the hall, with a youth band, activities, games, teaching and fun. This is ideal for children (and parents!) with no church experience.

YOUTH GROUP

The youth group, for ages from 7 upwards, resumes soon. Activities include fun together in the hall, interspersed with trips out, which have included ten pin bowling, iceskating and easy tramps. Watch this space for the new programme.

MUSIC AND MOVEMENT

Music and Movement

Music and Movement for preschoolers is held every Tuesday morning during school term, in the hall, from 10am. This programme is run in conjunction with Plunket. Morning tea is served after the programme,  an opportunity for parents, grandparents or caregivers to relax and socialise while their children play in safety.
