Children’s Ministry

The unique faith needs of children are given particular emphasis, with a pattern of worship and exploration of faith designed to try and fit in with the busy lives of families.

On the first Sunday of the month, at 9.30am, children are included in a shortened Holy Communion service, with a talk and activities designed specifically for them. Though, one has to say, all ages appreciate these services!

On the second Sunday of the month, a programme for children is run during the 9.30am service.

On the third Sunday of each month, ‘The Fun Side’ service for children is held in the hall, with activities, games, teaching and fun.

A youth group for ages 11 up meets at 6.15pm on Wednesdays, for fun, a meal together and learning about faith.

Music and Movement

Music and Movement for preschoolers is held every Tuesday morning during school term, in the hall, from 10am. This programme is run in conjunction with Plunket. Morning tea is served after the programme,  an opportunity for parents, grandparents or caregivers to relax and socialise while their children play in safety.
