The unique faith needs of children are given particular emphasis, with a pattern of worship and exploration of faith designed to try and fit in with the busy lives of families.
On the first Sunday of the month, at 9.30am, children are included in a shortened Holy Communion service, with a talk and activities designed specifically for them. Though, one has to say, all ages appreciate these services!
On other Sundays the children have materials at the back of the church for them to engage with, and to spend time with one another. Having children in the service is a special privilege for our congregation and we love to involve all our young people in different aspects of the service each week.
MUSIC AND MOVEMENT
Music and Movement for preschoolers is held every Tuesday morning during school term, in the hall, from 10am. This programme is run in conjunction with Plunket. Morning tea is served after the programme, an opportunity for parents, grandparents or caregivers to relax and socialise while their children play in safety.
